Stay Connected: A Summer Series for Parents of Tweens & Teens
Inspired by Lisa Damour’s The Emotional Lives of Teenagers

Parenting tweens and teens is no small task—especially while juggling work, schedules, and everyday life. This summer series offers practical, research-informed strategies to help you stay calm, strengthen your connection, and support your child’s healthy growth. No reading required! Each session is led by a former teacher, school counselor, and therapist with 18 years of experience working with adolescents.

Join us for any or all of the five sessions (Summer 2026, dates TBD):

  1. Understanding the Brain — Why tweens and teens feel and act the way they do
  2. Communication that Builds Connection — Listen, respond, and reduce conflict
  3. Boundaries that Stick — Set limits that foster trust and responsibility
  4. Supporting Emotional Wellness — Help manage stress and big emotions
  5. Raising Confident, Compassionate Kids — Nurture resilience and empathy
