A Bit About Me:

I work with young children, teens, and adults, and I am passionate about the process of learning, healing, and evolving. My approach is grounded in the belief that people of all ages can heal when met with warmth, authenticity, and empathy.

As a counselor, I operate from a humanistic perspective, focusing on the whole person rather than just symptoms. Our work together will highlight your strengths, implement effective skills, and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I also received a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy and am currently earning the Registered Play Therapist credential. I am a National Certified Counselor and have experience in community and nonprofit settings.

For Adults and Teens:

I support adults and teens navigating life and relationship transitions. Even positive changes can be difficult to face alone. I am honored to assist my clients as they adjust, reorient, and often rediscover themselves. I also work with those experiencing overwhelming stress, self-esteem issues, high-functioning anxiety, and adverse religious experiences, including those who are in the process of religious deconstruction.

For Young Children:

I provide Play Therapy for young children aged 3-7 to address cognitive, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Play Therapy uses the child's natural mode of communication—play—to help them express themselves and resolve their problems. I believe parents are the primary experts on their child and I value partnering closely with them during the Play Therapy process.

Looking for a good fit?

Therapy is a great tool on the journey of self-discovery, empowering you to embrace your true and authentic self.  By focusing on your unique strengths as an individual, we will build the confidence and resilience needed to venture beyond your comfort zone.
